Previously, THIEMT already received orders for designing and delivery of labs to the competitors Sabeco and Vinamilk, both domiciled near HCMC (Saigon).

Habeco, the name stands for Hanoi Beer Alcohol Beverage Corporation, is the second largest brewery of Vietnam and market leader in the north of the country.
In April 2008, Carlsberg acquired a 16% share of the formerly state controlled Habeco. In February 2008, the company went public; the capitalisation reached roughly 720 million $.
In November 2007, Habeco had signed a contract with a worth of 41,25 million $. The aim is to boost the capacity of currently 160 – 200 million liters per year.
In 2006, Habeco was distinguished with the Asia Pacific Qualitiy Award.
